Types Of Marine Corrosion

The first signs of corrosion below the waterline are:

Accelerated sacrificial anode wasting.

Paint blistering on the outdrive, usually on sharp edges, and the formation of powdery white corrosion material on exposed aluminum surfaces. If the corrosion is allowed to continue, The less noble metal will be consumed.
