Insurance Survey: This inspection is performed so that the insurance company can determine whether or not the vessel is an acceptable risk. They are interested in structural integrity and safety for its intended use. Most insurance companies require a survey on boats older than 10 years. They will also want to know the vessels fair market value.

Key Features

  •  Visual inspection of the hull, deck and super structure
  •  Visual inspection of all equipment
  •  Visual inspection of bottom and running gear if hauled (may be required by insurer)
  •  Insurance report  emailed or faxed 

The fee for a Insurance survey is:

16 to 24 feet $ 10.00 per foot  ( $200.00 Minimum)

25  to 29 feet $ 12.50 per foot

30 to 34 feet  $ 15.00 per foot

35 to 40 feet  $ 17.50 per foot

41 to 45 feet  $ 19.00 per foot

46 to 50 feet  $ 21.00 per foot

51 to 60 feet  $ 25.00 per foot

61 to 70 feet  $ 30.00 per foot

Over 70 Feet call for a quote

Travel and expenses will be negotiated

Hauling (if required) that is NOT conducted on same day as the survey will be subject to an additional fee.
