Gear Case / Outdrive Pressure and Vacuum Testing.

Are you wondering why a pressure test and a vacuum test are necessary?

Each shaft-seal area has two seals, back-to-back, or a newer style double-seal.

The outside seal prevents water from entering case.
The inside seal prevents oil from leaving case.

Leaking Oil or Water in the gear case will destroy the unit very quickly.

Outboards need checking too!
