Damage Inspection: The Damage Inspection is requested when the vessel is involved in a collision, grounding, storm, vandalism, yard mishandling.

The best time for this inspection is when your insurance adjuster is on site. This will give us an opportunity to discuss his findings and make recommendations.

                  DON'T WAIT TILL YOU HAVE HIRED A LAWYER

We will work with the adjuster, your insurance company and the repair yard to assure you of a properly repaired vessel.  

  •    Inspect the vessel and complete our own list of repairs.
  •   Compare to Boat yard or Insurance company estimate.
  •   Review estimate for accuracy.
  •   Evaluate repair for proper procedures and parts and make suggestions.
  •   Review policy limits and exclusions, if applicable.
  •   Written report of findings with pictures.
  •   Expert witness testimony available for litigation

The fee for a Damage inspection and Assessment is:

    $ 125.00 per hour, On-site inspection

    $ 75.00 per hour, Research, fact gathering and report writing

Travel and expenses will be negotiated

Hauling (if required) that is NOT conducted on same day as the survey will be subject to an additional fee.
